Great Wood accommodates up to 74 people in high quality log cabins.
Six of these units sleep eight campers each, in bunks. Each cabin contains an en-suite leaders’ room which sleeps two. The bunk area of the cabins can be divided easily into two separate rooms of four.
There are a further three leaders’ cabins: all en-suite, sleeping a maximum of 14 people in seven twin rooms. One cabin has wheel-chair access and is suitably equipped throughout. The cabins have electricity, reading lights, heating, toilets and showers.

Please note:
- Visitors need to bring their own sleeping bag and pillowcase. A blanket and pillow is provided on each bed.
- We do not allow dogs on site (other than registered assistance dogs).
- We are unable to allow tents on the site – all accommodation is in purpose designed cabins.

Places to meet
As well as the individual cabins for sleeping, there are larger meeting areas including the recently built Mess Hut, JI Hut and other communal areas.
