Jeremy’s first memory of Great Wood camp was aged 10, having kindly been allowed to come to the Backwoodsman camp for 11/12 year olds. He continued to come every year subsequently, sometimes twice a year until his early twenties and it formed the most wonderful foundation for a lifelong walk with God.
He is delighted to be back involved as a trustee and longs for others to know something of the delights he enjoyed from the past whilst discovering all that God has for our future. Great Wood itself is a favourite place with many high spots but the memory of a mug of cocoa by the fire in the mess hut after a night walk has got to be one of the highest.
